Habesha Kemis(ሀበሻ ቀሚስ) መነን

The stunning Ethiopian Eritrean Habesha Kemis (ሀበሻ ቀሚስ) is meticulously crafted from hand-woven Ethiopian cotton fabric known as MENEN (መነን ጨርቅ). It features exquisite gold metallic embroidery around the neckline, complemented by a small cross also embroidered in gold. The garment showcases two larger crosses adorned with both silver and gold thread. Additionally, the underskirt is constructed from luxurious satin fabric. A large scarf (ነጠላ) accompanies the dress, bordered with beautifully embroidered small crosses that harmonize with the overall design. This dress is designed to flatter every figure elegantly.
